About us
Having grown up in rural central Illinois, Tiffany and I have been around animals of all types for most of our lives. During my childhood and young adult years, I spent as much time as I could at my grandfather’s farm near Havana, IL. His farm had all of the typical livestock (horses, cows, pigs, chickens), and my brother and cousins all pitched in to help whenever we could. Unfortunately, a lot of the time this involved building fence, bailing hay, or never-ending repair of farm implements; however, we always tried to squeeze in some horseback riding whenever possible, be it a weekend trail ride or just a quick ride in the back pasture of the farm.
During our adult years, we have spent more time with our household pets, and we also volunteer for local animal shelters and at animal adoption events. We are committed to caring for animals of all types, and we would be honored to help you with all of your animal care needs!
Tiffany Pogeman
Tiffany has spent her entire career working in the medical field. Her love of animals goes all the way back to visits to her grandfather’s farm in Mapleton, IL.
John Payne
John has worked as an engineer for nearly 25 years, and he is now working towards certifications in pet grooming and as a Vet Assistant. He grew up working (and playing) at his grandfather’s farm near Havana, IL.
